Milwaukee Tool explains that REDLITHIUM-ION batteries have a unique, patented design, enabling them to power through the harshest job site conditions – from extreme temperatures to vibrations and drops. They feature shock responsive separators and a rubber overmold that also helps to protect the battery.
Sophisticated REDLINK PLUS Intelligence battery electronics monitor individual cells for maximum life and provide temperature and overload protection that delivers optimised performance based on the tool and battery pack combination.
This Milwaukee-exclusive technology enables advanced communication between batteries and tools, allowing for ultimate productivity, explains Milwaukee Tool.
M12 REDLITHIUM-ION batteries reportedly have the performance and durability to power a range of sub-compact cordless power tools.
With system-wide compatibility across more than 90 M12 cordless solutions, Milwaukee Tool says transportation professionals can rely on M12 REDLITHIUM-ION batteries to support various work from repairs and bodywork to detailing.
M12 REDLITHIUM-ION batteries are available in 2.0Ah, 3.0Ah for low voltage applications and 4.0Ah and 6.0Ah for higher voltage applications.
The company has also just introduced the next breakthrough in the M12 system with the new M12 REDLITHIUM-ION HIGH OUTPUT 2.5Ah Compact Battery.
Milwaukee Tool says this battery delivers
25 percent more power and runs 25 percent cooler than the M12 REDLITHIUM-ION 2.0Ah Compact Battery.
The new HIGH OUTPUT Battery is built with a resistant housing, providing increased protection against exposure to common oils, greases, and solvents often found in garages and workshops.
