Increasingly, Australian motorists and recreational off roaders are seeking to equip their vehicles with forward lighting that not only produces a bright and powerful light output, but also looks great and matches the aesthetics of their rides.

The nine-inch LED lamp kits are offered in both a tough stealth black or ultra clean white finish (including colour-coded mounting hardware), allowing owners to better colour match the lights to suit the look of their vehicles.
As well as looking sharp, the lamps’ beam pattern has been optimised for both length and width and offers owners two modes, an E-approved setting suitable for public roads (1565 Lumens) as well as Xperience mode (8860 Lumens) for off-highway use, where light can penetrate up to an amazing 788 metres down the road.
Xperience mode is activated and deactivated through a simple on/off sequence the driver makes with the vehicle high beams.
Strands says the impressive light output comes courtesy of high-performance LEDs that can illuminate the darkest roads and gives drivers light quality that closely resembles natural daylight.
It explains this long-range performance is combined with the lamps’ white and amber dual position lights which encircle the main LEDs giving an eye-catching effect.
Designed for durability in demanding conditions (operating temperatures of -30°C to +60°C), the Siberia Skylord range was developed to resist vibrations and shocks; with Strands stating it can withstand 20Grms vibration and 60G shock impact.
Additionally, they feature an advanced protective coating over the lamps’ aluminium housing to stand up to the challenging Australian elements.
The lamps are also equipped with “virtually unbreakable” polycarbonate lenses that are UV protected; additionally, the lamps are sealed for water and dust ingress to IP68 and 69K, and hold CISPR25 class 3 certification, ensuring excellent EMC protection.
Installing the Siberia Skylord LED Driving Lamps is an easy process – each kit comes with the necessary components for a quick set-up including mounting bracket, screws, 500mm cable and DT4 connector.
The lamps’ compact dimensions at only 80.5mm depth and 228mm diameter, also means that they provide greater mounting options than more cumbersome competitors no matter what the vehicle type.
