LANOTEC TO CONTINUE SUPPORT OF SUPERCARS YOUNG GUN

Jay Robotham will remain as an ambassador for the brand through 2025

Lanotec, an Australian-made leader in high-performance multi-purpose lubricants and protectants, says it is proud to continue its backing of Australian motorsport up and comer, Jay Robotham.
The 21-year-old from Lancefield, Victoria, has this season represented Lanotec across a range of motorsport disciplines in Australia and Asia, culminating in a co-drive with Brad Jones Racing’s Bryce Fullwood in this year’s Repco Supercars Championship endurance races, where the Middy’s Racing Chevrolet Camaro featured Lanotec’s distinctive green logo on its headlights.
“We couldn’t be prouder to support Jay as he continues climbing up the motorsport ladder,” Lanotec Managing Director, Dale May, said.
“Since we first connected via his racing in Thailand early last year, he has been the perfect ambassador for Lanotec, with speed matched by his professional approach on and off the track.
“Jay has a bright future in the sport, and we can’t wait to see him continue his charge.”
To date this season, Jay has stayed sharp with multiple programs across the region, including the Thai Super Series for Corliss Race Engineering, the GTM Championship with a MARC Mustang and the Fanatec GT World Challenge Asia series while also being a starter in the Bathurst 6 Hour aboard a Toyota 86, and dominating the opening two rounds of the Victorian Hyundai Excel Championship.
“It is fantastic to continue my relationship with Lanotec; they are a great Australian company making world-class products,” Jay said.
“The opportunities that have been made available to me have been great, and I can’t wait to see what’s next.”
Lanotec has also claimed naming-rights sponsorship for the grassroots Hyundai Excel Racing Association of Victoria and its state championship series, which is hosted at Sandown, Phillip Island Winton, and Calder Park.
Additionally, Lanotec support has extended across the Corliss Race Engineering fleet in the Thailand Super Series, while the company recently made its first foray into the North American scene, supporting an entry in the new Ford Mustang Challenge with the Dark Horse R model.
