DON KYATT GROUP REPRESENTS AUSTRALIA AT AUTOMECHANIKA FRANKFURT

The company was one of three Australian organisations on-show at the event

The management team from the Don Kyatt Spare Parts Melbourne Head Office joined with staff from the French branch in September to represent the company at the 2024 Automechanika Expo in Frankfurt, Germany.
The expo is the largest international trade show in the automotive industry and hosted 4,200 exhibitors from 80 countries this year, as well as being attended by over 108,000 visitors across the five days.
One of only three Australian companies exhibiting at the 2024 event, Don Kyatt Spare Parts showed off its Terrain Tamer 4WD Parts and Flashlube product ranges, meeting with both existing and prospective suppliers and customers, as well as other visitors with an interest in the brands.
“Automechanika is a staple of our event calendar, and the true world automotive marketplace, so it was wonderful to see the crowds return to Frankfurt from the challenges of previous years and I believe that momentum will continue into the years to come,” Don Kyatt General Manager, Brent Hutchinson, said.
“We are fortunate to have set up our own European operation 15 years ago to set strong foundations, but it still amazes me how many new relationships we are able to form with both of our brands.
“Terrain Tamer and Flashlube have very different paths to market, they have different strategies and different teams who were all run off their feet for the entire event!
“Australia is a long way away, so this trip always includes a second week working with our entire European Team in the south of France.
“To connect with them, visit key accounts together and have the opportunity to plan face-to-face is an opportunity we don’t get often enough.”

Don Kyatt Spare Parts was established more than five decades ago and today has branches in Australia, New Zealand, France, Fiji, PNG, South Africa, Chile and the US and boasts a product range of more than 60,000 unique part numbers covering all of the parts that will strengthen a 4WD.
Brent says it is the innovation and customer service that Frank and Don were famous for when they set the company up that remains its biggest asset 55 years later. While Don unfortunately passed away in 1991, Frank still works in the business.
