ENHANCING EFFICIENCY AND COST SAVINGS
Bosch says its High Recovery Rate A/C Service Units deliver a range of benefits
With Summer fast approaching, Bosch says its innovative A/C service units, the ACS 563 for R1234yf refrigerant and the ACS 553 for R134a refrigerant, are designed to optimise refrigerant recovery, charging, and recycling for various vehicles.
It states these units offer workshops, especially smaller ones, the opportunity to expand their service offerings and generate new revenue streams.
Bosch says a key feature of the ACS 563 and ACS 553 is their remarkable refrigerant recovery rate of up to 95 percent, resulting in significant cost savings for workshops.
With an intuitive interface and a comprehensive database of vehicle A/C system specifications, these units make service tasks efficient and straightforward.
Safety is a top priority in automotive service, and Bosch says its units prioritise technician safety with electronically controlled internal air exchange systems which minimise the risk of overpressure.
The integrated oil change management programme and hose flushing capability provide flexibility for servicing traditional and electric vehicles.
Further, Bosch says the precise electronic purge system ensures recovered refrigerants are free from air and moisture, maintaining the integrity of the refrigerant and the service process.
In addition to the ACS 5×3 series models, Bosch offers high-performance units like the ACS 663 and ACS 653, as well as the premium ACS 763 and ACS 753, which reportedly achieve an extremely high recovery rate of up to 99 percent.
These units feature Bosch’s innovative ‘Deep Recovery System’, allowing for effective refrigerant recovery even under challenging conditions.
Bosch explains the robust two-stage vacuum pump with a capacity of 170 litres per minute ensures rapid servicing of larger A/C systems in commercial vehicles.
Integrated pressure testing options enhance leak detection accuracy, improving overall service quality. The ACS 7×3 series units also have integrated nitrogen and hydrogen pressure leak test functionality.
When a WLAN dongle is integrated with a Bosch A/C service unit, remote monitoring through the proprietary ‘Bosch ACS Connect’ smartphone app enables workshops to streamline their operations and maintain oversight of the service unit’s status.
With their high recovery rates and advanced features, Bosch says its A/C service units provide powerful solutions for automotive workshops, enhancing service efficiency while promoting sustainable refrigerant use, benefiting both the workshop and the environment.
Bosch says investing in one of these units positions workshops to meet the evolving demands of the automotive market, ensuring they remain competitive and responsive to customer needs.
