Upcoming free seminar will teach business owners how to unlock sales by getting their auto parts business online

Automotive eCommerce specialist, Zellis, in conjunction with Retail Global, is holding a free seminar in Perth in early March.
Branded ‘Retail Fest Perth Roadshow’ the seminar is designed to help eCommerce and retail brands connect, learn from industry leaders, and grow their business – or simply unwind, network, and talk shop over a few beers.
Global online sales of automotive parts and accessories amounts to a market currently worth $130billion, with this amount forecast to triple in the next five years, says Zellis.
Australia and New Zealand are already seeing rapid growth, with aftermarket retailers racing to secure early market share.
Zellis explains that accurate product data, stock synchronisation, fitment and low-friction customer experience are keys to online success and will be amongst the topics discussed as part of ‘Retail Fest.’
The seminar will be held across two sessions at The Globe in the Perth CBD across Thursday 6 March 2025.
In the first session, specifically for Auto Parts and Accessory Retailers and scheduled from 2:00pm-3:00pm, Zellis Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Tim Davies, will outline actionable steps to build and scale a profitable online parts business, emphasising strategy over big budgets in this booming sector.
Tim is an automotive eCommerce specialist in charge of a global team made up of online customer experience and data specialists, as well as web developers, who work directly with retailers and wholesalers who are looking to improve efficiency and effective across their channels.
It helps them do so by structuring data and designing and building both high converting websites and sound commercial strategies.
During the second session – scheduled from 3:30pm-6:00pm – a panel will consider the topic, ‘Building Community Through eCommerce,’ exploring how genuine customer connections drive growth and brand advocacy.
It will discuss how businesses can leverage social platforms, user-generated content, immersive experiences, and loyalty programs to turn their customers into a thriving community.
The panel will be convened by Ryan Martin, Founder of Remarkable Digital and Host of the eCommerce Australia Podcast, where he interviews Australian eCommerce experts on the trends, strategies, and best practices for running successful online businesses.
