Unifilter Australia, which states it is “Australia’s only Australian owned automotive air filter manufacturer,” is set to re-launch its O2 Rush Performance automotive air filter with a comprehensive fitment range including Audi, BMW, Ford, Nissan, Porsche and more, as well as Chevrolet, Toyota, Ram, Ford and GMC full size pick-ups.
The company says the new advanced range, designed and made in Australia, will offer customers the choice of street or track designs with the ability to easily swap between the two.
An increased filtering surface area with corrugated foam brings performance benefits developed in offroad racing to the street range while the application of a course 45ppi open cell foam further improves airflow without leaving the intake unprotected in the track range.
“It is no secret that we love racing in all its forms,” Unifilter Australia’s Myles Gooch, said.
“So, we’ve been working hard back in the factory on updating our performance fitments for a brand-new range of high-flow replacement performance air filters to use in the factory airbox.
“For every fitment, customers will have two choices of filtering media, a finer foam designed for street use and more traditional service intervals, while also offering a higher performance open cell foam for the track.
“The range is set to offer our well-established engine protection while improving performance.”
The new 02 Rush Performance automotive range bolsters an already impressive catalogue of air filter solutions.
This offering has been developed over the company’s 49 years of experience through a rich racing heritage in both two and four wheels, from iconic V8 touring cars like the Castrol Perkins Commodores to fire-breathing desert-racing Trophy Trucks, Rally cars, and everything in between.
The huge growth and demand for 4×4 replacement filters over recent years has dominated the sales for the NSW Central Coast manufacturer, however it clearly has not limited the Australian brand’s focus as it continues to develop new fitments, products, and air filtration solutions.
Other Unifilter Australia automotive performance automotive solutions include custom Induction Pod Filters; Rally Pods; multiple Carburettor and Throttle Body Intake Filter Kits; and custom made Air Filters.
Set for release in March 2025, Unifilter Australia says the O2 Rush Performance automotive air filter application list is already comprehensive, covering a wide range of modern and iconic vehicles commonly seeking performance advantages.
It works in conjunction with Unifilter Australia’s foam air filer cleaner (mineral turpentine can also be used) and foam air filter oil.
The range complements Unifilter Australia’s existing catalogue of replacement automotive air filters and joins the extensive motorcycle, ATV and side by side air filter solutions already offered.
