LIQUI MOLY UNVEILS NEW MOTOR OILS

The new oils have been tailored for Australian workshops and fleet operators

After nearly three years of meticulous research and development, LIQUI MOLY, a renowned supplier of premium lubricants, additives
and car care products, says it is thrilled to announce the launch of its new generalist motor oils for the Australian market, designed and formulated in Germany and now proudly produced in Thailand.
The Special Tec T series is designed to offer maximum fuel-saving potential and high engine protection – and comes at an attractive price, says LIQUI MOLY Australia.
“The newly launched Special Tec T range provides outstanding protection against wear, lowers oil and fuel consumption, keeps the engine clean and ensures fast oil penetration,” LIQUI MOLY Oil Laboratory Deputy Head, Oliver Kuhn, said.
“Modern base oils and modern additives are used to fulfill the requirements of modern vehicles.
LIQUI MOLY Australia says it is dedicated to supporting the Australian automotive industry with innovative, reliable, and accessible solutions that meet the local needs.
“This marks a significant milestone for LIQUI MOLY in Australia,” LIQUI MOLY Australia Managing Director, Vincent Prinzing, said.
“By introducing these high-quality motor oils, we’re strengthening our ability to support generalist workshops, as well as providing tailored solutions for Asian and American makes, heavy-duty vehicles, mining operations, and fleets.”
The decision to manufacture the Special Tec T oils in LIQUI MOLY’s new production facility in Thailand was strategic, enabling the company to offer its trusted German-engineered quality at highly competitive prices, better suited to the demands of the Australian market.
LIQUI MOLY Australia says this ensures that workshops and businesses can access top-tier lubricants without compromise.
“The new production facility in Thailand allows us to save time, costs and CO2 when delivering our oils to Australia – due to the shorter transport routes,” Oliver said.
“However, it’s very important to us that the motor oils from Thailand maintain the same quality as the ones from Germany.
“This high quality is what our customers expect from us, it’s what they trust in. And that’s what they get, no matter where the oil is being produced.
“We will secure this promise by carrying out strict quality controls.”
The Special Tec T range will initially be available in 205-litre drums, catering specifically to independent workshops and original equipment dealerships.
LIQUI MOLY Australia says it remains committed to importing its European manufacturer-approved motor oils directly from Germany.
“These oils continue to set the benchmark for quality, as many of the premium ingredients used in our high-approval engine and gear oils are exclusively sourced from Europe,” Vincent said.
