Motor oil must be able to do much more than lubricate and cool.
In modern engines, motor oil is really a structural component, with LIQUI MOLY stating that only an excellent motor oil that is pure liquid high-tech can enable an engine to develop its full performance while complying with all emission limits.

Before these are processed, an in-depth incoming goods inspection and testing takes place in the laboratory – only if the ingredients meet the high requirements are they released for further use.
Before a product is added to the range, the research and development department carries out various trials and analyses, right up to practical testing.
LIQUI MOLY says it researches, develops and tests until all expectations are met, and the product creates real added value.
In cooperation with the standards committee the motor oil specialists take part in interlaboratory tests for both used and new oils, ensuing that among other things, the analytical methods and results are correct.
LIQUI MOLY explains the zero-defect strategy ensures that, in the end, only those products that are flawless actually make it into delivery, noting that error tolerances are unacceptable.
During production, it notes the product in question must pass through several stages of quality inspection: from the visual inspection of the finished product to the reliable laboratory testing of the formulation.
