NOMINATE FOR THE CAPRICORN BOARD
Capricorn exists for its Community of Members, Preferred Suppliers and its people, as well as the wider industry

Capricorn itself is owned by its Members. Every decision we make and every product or service we launch, is about the good of our Community.
Our Board plays an important role in getting that right.
This year we’re having Director Elections for Member Directors from Victoria/Tasmania and New South Wales/Australian Capital Territory – whatever happens we will have a new Member Director in Victoria/Tasmania because the sitting Member Director, Mark Cooper, has served the maximum allowable term.
Becoming a Member Director is a great way to give back to the Capricorn Community, to use your talents to help others, to be part of something bigger, and to have a voice at the table where the decisions are made.
If you’re looking to play a bigger role in the industry and are a Capricorn Member, please consider nominating yourself.
Capricorn will be holding two information sessions in May – one in Sydney and one in Melbourne – for Members to learn more about being on our Board and the process to nominate.
Board Chair Mark Rowe and I will both be there, along with our General Counsel and Company Secretary, Susannah Haines, to answer all your questions.
Eligible Capricorn Members have been sent invitations to these sessions, so please come along if you can.
I want to remind you also that the Capricorn Rising Stars Awards are still open for nominations, with the nomination period closing on 31 May, 2025.
This year we will be announcing a Region Winner from each of our six Capricorn zones, as well as an overall winner. You can nominate your apprentice or find out more at www.cap.coop/stars
