AASRA PORTAL TIPS

AASRA is the Scheme Adviser for the Motor Vehicle Service and Repair Information Sharing Scheme Act 2021

The Australian Automotive Service and Repair Authority (AASRA) continues to work diligently to serve the industry while ensuring the Motor Vehicle Service and Repair Information Sharing Scheme Act 2021 is working effectively.
The Scheme mandates all service and repair information provided to car dealership networks and manufacturer preferred repairers be made available for Australian repairers and Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) to purchase.
For using the AASRA portal, AASRA reminds users that each car company website can specify different operating systems and browsers. Therefore, if you download a PDF and there appears to be missing content, or you are unable to open dropdown boxes within a website, AASRA says the issue is probably the browser you are using.
Further, service and repair information under the Scheme must cover from 2002 to current models, so older manuals may require a different browser to later manuals within the same car brand. AASRA notes that common browsers such as Chrome and Edge can be put into ‘Internet Explorer’ mode to read these older manuals.
AASRA provides the following list of manufacturers and their designated browsers required to view their information.
