ACL CONTINUES TO BACK GROVE JUNIOR TEAM
The performance bearing company says it is excited to continue its partnership with the team and its racer, Oscar Targett
Up and coming racer Oscar Targett is currently competing for the Grove Junior Team in the Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge Australia and is leading the championship as the only driver so far to win multiple races in Season 2024.
“We have a strong partnership with Grove Racing and share a common commitment to developing and supporting the future of Motorsport,” ACL Executive Advisor, Chris Brooks, said.
“We’ve been proud to follow Oscar’s journey right from his rookie season to where he is today.
“Despite not contesting the full season last year, Oscar was able to finish third in the championship, which is an outstanding achievement and sets a great foundation for a full campaign in 2024.
“He is a tremendous talent, a highly competitive and well credentialled young racer with many years of experience in karting at domestic and international level, and we are pleased to be part of his Motorsport journey.
“We are very proud to be partnering with him and Grove Racing as he continues his Motorsport development, and he is an excellent ambassador for our brand.
“We are especially very excited to have Oscar join Penrite Racing at the upcoming NED Whisky Tasmania SuperSprint, which happens to be our local event, and we wish him every success in his pursuit of the Championship title.”
Grove Racing Team Principal, David Cauchi, shared his enthusiasm for the ongoing partnership.
“Our enduring collaboration with ACL is a testament to the shared commitment for success between Penrite Racing and ACL,” David said.
“ACL has also been a great supporter of the Grove Junior team, contributing to the development of the future stars of our sport.”

“I’m super happy to have Chris and the team at ACL onboard again in 2024,” Oscar said.
“Having round five of the championship down with them on the Apple Isle will also be a great experience and hopefully the entire team can come along for the race at Symmons Plains.”
