The AIC is excited to launch a specialised vehicle scan portal, setting a new standard for product developers in Australia

The Auto Innovation Centre (AIC) says this innovative platform, the first of its kind in the country, offers a comprehensive database of high-resolution vehicle scans, all accessible in one location.
The portal enables subscribers to easily search and purchase scan data packages by vehicle model and is grouped based on frequently modified vehicle areas, including frontal protection systems, chassis, suspension, exterior, exhaust, service body, and more.
AIC scan packages are distinguished by their industry-leading quality, post-processing, and assembly layout to permit the most user-friendly scan data available to product development engineers.
“The AIC’s mission is to help companies bring new products to market, and our new portal is a game changer for businesses looking to fast-track product development by accessing high quality vehicle scan packages, and measurement information, quickly and affordably,” AIC Managing Director, Luke Truskinger, said.
The Vehicle Portal offers other valuable product development tools for scanned vehicles, including comprehensive information, photos and measurements for each vehicle including powertrain, suspension, dimensions, weights and capacities and more.
The AIC Vehicle Portal also allows subscribers to request specific vehicles to help prioritise the key vehicles through the AIC.
The database of industry leading scan packages continues to expand every day, with the Suzuki Jimny XL, Ford F-150 and Mitsubishi MV Triton the latest vehicles to be scanned.
“A portal subscription is a valuable investment because it removes the need for companies to buy their own vehicles and do their own disassembly and scanning, which involves significant cost, time and effort,” Luke said.
“The entry-level subscription includes two complementary data packs which are valued in excess of the subscription fee.”
The all-new Vehicle Portal complements AIC’s specialised state-of-the-art vehicle testing and product level testing capabilities for the aftermarket.
