BENDIX ADDS 26 EXTRA DISC BRAKE PAD VARIETIES

New options added to Bendix’s 4WD/SUV, General CT and Euro + product lines

Motorists are spoilt for choice in Australia and New Zealand with close to 70 car brands currently operating in these markets, meaning that manufacturers such as Bendix are kept busy developing quality aftermarket components for new models, while still catering to earlier vehicles.
In July, Bendix added an additional 26 disc brake pad options across its 4WD/SUV, General CT and Euro + product lines, to suit a diverse range of vehicle types from European compact cars to full size utilities and everything in between.
New additions to the 4WD/SUV range include front and rear variants to suit Ford F150 from 2020 onwards, as well as options for Jeep Wrangler (JL) from 2017 onwards, Mazda CX-60 and CX-90, and Genesis GV80.
Bendix’s 4WD/SUV range is perfect for this vehicle category and designed for both on and off-road use, delivering low noise and dust performance as well as reduced brake fade at higher temperatures.

More Euro+ options
Model dependent, there are now also more front and rear pad options in the Euro + line-up, with Audi Q5 and Peugeot 308 from 2018 onwards covered, along with a host of Porsche’s go-fast SUVs including Macan (95B) from 2014 onwards, and the larger Cayenne 92A from 2011-2018 and 9YA/9YB from 2019 to current. The range also extends to Volkswagen Golf (MK8) from 2021 onwards.
Bendix says Euro+ disc brake pads are a proven, high performing aftermarket alternative to OE components.
It explains the pads meet ECE Regulation 90 that specifies the design, construction, performance requirements and test protocols for strict European regulations.
Other benefits are low dust operation that helps keep rims cleaner, and braking performance that in most cases exceeds OE equivalents.

General CT
In the General CT disc pad range, popular Korean brands Kia and Hyundai receive greater coverage with rear options now available for Stinger (2017-onwards) and Seltos (2022-onwards), while Hyundai Kona (SX2) owners now have access to rear disc brake pads for 2023 model year vehicles to current.
Bendix says its General CT Brake Pads feature proven compounds that deliver reliable and secure stopping performance, coupled with a smooth and consistent pedal feel.
Other qualities include noise and vibration absorbing shims for added driver and passenger comfort, and Bendix’s Blue Titanium Stripe technology, which provides superior stopping power ‘out of the box’ without the need for bedding in.
