BENDIX HITS THE TRACK WITH MSR
The company has become a naming rights partner with the team
Bendix has joined forces with Matt Stone Racing (MSR) as the new naming rights partner on Nick Percat’s Chevrolet Camaro for the 2024 Supercars Championship.
Bendix has a strong involvement in Supercars with its trade partners, and also fielded the Bendix ULT4WD SuperUte last year, but this is the first time Bendix has taken naming rights of a race car in Australia’s top motorsport category.
Percat’s MSR Bendix Racing Team Gen3 Camaro was first revealed in early February sporting the famous number 10.
“It is great to have such an iconic Australian automotive brand like Bendix partnered with Matt Stone Racing and Supercars this year,” Matt Stone Racing Team Owner, Matt Stone, said.
“There is a lot of continuity with Bendix and many of our other partners that are involved in the automotive space. It really bolsters the strength of the MSR family of partners as we head into a big season.
“The Bendix Racing Team Supercar looks great.”
FMP Group Australia – Bendix Chief Executive Officer, George Kyriakopoulos, said the company was very excited about its new association with MSR, and the opportunities the partnership would bring.
“Bendix is looking forward to racing in the Supercars category in 2024,” George said.
“As the preeminent motorsport category and one of Australia’s most watched sports, Supercars is a natural fit for us. We are as passionate about cars as our customers, and quite frankly we are ready to race!
“Bendix is Australia’s leading braking brand with an extensive range of braking components including brake pads, rotors and accessories. Whether it’s Bendix GCT for passenger vehicles or Ultimate 4WD to suit four-wheel-drive vehicles, Bendix has you covered.
“For those with a more sporting intent, Bendix also offers Ultimate+ Brakes and Rotors as well as Street Road Track Pads – we understand that vehicles come in all shapes and sizes: passenger cars, EVs, SUVs and 4WDs.
“All products are extensively tested, so drivers can Brake with Confidence, and now with MSR, Bendix can Race with Confidence.”
