Pedders Suspension and Brakes says it has released an impressive new brake upgrade kit designed to significantly enhance the braking performance of the Holden Commodore VF Series.
It combines larger calipers, improved brake pads, braided steel hoses, and high-quality 355mm rotors to provide better stopping power, heat dissipation, and overall durability.
The inclusion of braided steel brake hoses are resistant to expansion under high pressure. Pedders says this results in a firmer pedal feel and more precise brake modulation.
The kit also features Pedders eXtreme Kevlar ceramic brake pads, which Pedders says are known for their high-performance characteristics, including excellent stopping power, low dust generation, and reduced noise.
It states they offer improved fade resistance and consistent braking performance even under demanding conditions.
Also included are front six-piston calipers, which provide enhanced stopping power by providing additional pistons which distribute braking force more evenly, resulting in improved braking performance, as well as six-slot Geomet-coated rotors.
With a diameter of 355mm, the slots aid the rotor in expelling heat, gases, and debris from the braking surface, improving overall braking performance.
Further, the Geomet coating provides corrosion resistance, extending the life of the rotors and maintaining their appearance.
