Burg Design Australia says it has been the pioneer of driving safety devices since 1999, beginning with its Parksafe quality assured ultrasonic reversing sensors (sold worldwide) and more recently Blind Spot Radar Detection (BSD) 
A new addition to the Parksafe range is Blind Spot Radar for much larger vehicles such as vans, trucks, passenger vehicles, buses, motorhomes and similar size vehicles.
These new models of top quality Radar/Microwave Systems can be easily mounted on the left and right sides of most vehicles or just one sensor on the rear.
Burg Design says they will accurately detect and warn the driver of rear traffic approaching from up to 20 metres away, giving the driver both visual and audible warnings as well as a rear cross traffic warning when reversing.
Features include adjustable detection distance from one to 20 meters plus GPS Speed controlled on/off switching. 
Burg Design says the Parksafe BSD are reliable radar systems of advanced microwave technology applied for heavy duty equipment and commercial vehicles, which can provide visual and audible alerts to operators to avoid potential danger and allow them to take proper actions in advance.
