The company’s DRIVE program recognises the highest performing stores within the Bridgestone network

Following a hotly contested battle in 2022, Bridgestone Select Hendra (QLD) has retained the title of National Franchise of the Year for an impressive third straight year after Caleb Sos and his team claimed top honours in the annual DRIVE program run by Bridgestone Australia.
National honours also went to Ashley McDougall and the team at Bridgestone Service Centre Thornton (NSW), taking out the top prize of Service Centre of the Year, and Ann Bollins, Chris Bollins and Aaron Morrisby from Bridgestone Service Centre Wacol (QLD) claiming Truck Store of the Year. Martin de Villiers took out the title of New Store of the Year with his Bridgestone Select Belmont (WA) store.
The DRIVE program recognises the highest performing stores within the Bridgestone network, with stores benchmarked on customer service, store presentation and operational excellence. Launched in 2020, DRIVE is underpinned by Bridgestone’s values of empowering customers and providing a seamless experience for tyre and auto servicing needs.
As well as recognising the national winners, DRIVE also showcases the top performing stores within each sales region for the three main categories: Franchise of the Year for Bridgestone Select stores, Store of the Year for Bridgestone Service Centres and best performing store for Bridgestone truck, bus and Bandag retread sales.
The New Store of the Year Award is contested by Bridgestone Select stores in their first three years of trading. In 2022, the category saw 16 stores vying for the title.
Bridgestone Australia and New Zealand Managing Director, Heath Barclay, says that the DRIVE program was hotly contested in 2022, and the real winners are customers.
