BROCK’S MAGIC GLOVE RETURNS

Repco has launched its all-new Bathurst television commercial

Repco has brought the big guns to television screens for its fourth pre-Bathurst 1000 television campaign.
The new commercial is set at the top of the mountain, and for the second year in a row, Peter Brock’s iconic magic glove makes a return.
This time, it is set inside the ‘Temple of Bathurst’ where racing fans and motorsport identities witness objects that are transformed and the glove truly ‘Brings the Bathurst.’
The commercial features a plethora of Supercars talent, from legends and commentators Neil Crompton, Greg Murphy, and Riana Crehan, to Shell V-Power Racing Team drivers Will Davison and Anton De Pasquale.
Other notable cameos in the commercial include Castrol Racing’s Thomas Randle, the 4WD 24/7 duo Shauno and Jesse, plus Gary Reid from Showtime.
The full length commercial – the brainchild of Repco’s trusted creative partner, Thinkerbell – can be viewed on YouTube and is featuring on major free-to-air television stations in Australia and New Zealand until the 2024 Repco Bathurst 1000.
Repco says it is proud to be the naming-rights partner of the world-famous Bathurst 1000, which will be held at Mount Panorama across October 10-13.
“The team at Repco is really proud of this year’s ‘Bringin’ the Bathurst’ campaign,” GPC Asia Pacific Executive General Manager – Marketing, Mitch Wiley, said.
“Last year’s ad really resonated with fans, so it made complete sense for us to continue the journey of Brocky’s magic glove.
“I want to thank the team at Thinkerbell and the hard working Repco marketing team for pushing the limits again with this year’s ad. I am sure the fans will love it and we can’t wait for the 2024 Repco Bathurst 1000.”
