BUMPER SUPERCARS, CARRERA CUP AND GT RACING SEASON FOR DAYCO

The new year brings the global automotive engine component manufacturer another bumper season of motor racing to promote the Dayco brand

For more than a decade, Dayco has developed a major branding presence in Australian motorsport, featuring prominently across three of the country’s major motor racing categories and continuing the company’s highly successful ambassadorship alliance with one of the country’s fastest racing drivers, “Dayco Dave” Russell.
The complete 2025 Dayco motorsport program is headed by the company’s prominent presence in the Repco Supercars Championship, once again joining the BRT (Blanchard Racing Team) with veteran champion driver James Courtney and young gun Aaron Love in their Ford Mustangs.
The impossible to miss Dayco windscreen banner signage on both cars contributes significantly to keeping the Dayco brand at the front of mind of mechanics and DIY enthusiasts across Australia and New Zealand.
Accompanying the 2025 Dayco Supercar program is the return of evergreen Porsche Carrera Cup racer David Russell, who performed magnificently to claim runner-up honours last season in the world’s fastest one make series over eight high profile rounds located in Australia and New Zealand.
The Dayco driver claimed several race wins and podium results with the superb TekworkX team.
Dayco proudly returns to this prestigious series with Russell and TekworkX once again in 2025.
The Dayco Ambassador will also be competing in a number of GT and Production Car races during 2025, commencing with the Bathurst 12 Hour in February.
Dayco will have a boosted presence at the two-driver Supercar endurance races which this year will see an inaugural enduro race at the The Bend (SA) in September, coupled with Australia’s biggest domestic motor race, the Repco Bathurst 1000 in October.
Dayco will join David as he competes for a second season with talented full time driver James Golding in the PremiAir Racing Team Camaro in these highly anticipated races.
According to James Barrett, Dayco Sales Manager Australia and New Zealand, the company has assembled an exciting and broad reaching motorsport marketing program for 2025.
“We are excited about the new season and the exposure that it will deliver to Dayco, helping to keep our leading automotive aftermarket brand at the front of our customers’ minds using Supercars, Porsche Carrera Cup and GT racing as our high profile marketing platforms,” James said.
“Our Ambassador Dayco Dave just keeps getting faster each season and we look forward to his performances this year in the country’s most competitive motor racing series’.”
