COMMON RAIL DIESEL RETURN ADAPTOR KIT
Available from Diesel Help Australia
There is nothing worse than the daunting task of calling your customer and informing them the job is going to cost more than what was originally quoted.
Of course, most workshops are prepared for the unexpected, but a minor replacement of the valve cover seal blowing out with an additional $1600 for an injector return line is never welcome, and to make matters worse, often the vehicle will be off the road until the part arrives in four weeks.
Due to ageing vehicles, Diesel Help Australia says this situation is becoming increasingly common.
Diesel injector return adaptors are often made from a plastic material which over time becomes brittle and breakage occurs, or the O-ring seal is damaged during the removal.
Even with the most delicate hands, this removal process can be an anxious task.
“I have often been called upon by workshops to answer the question: can you refer us to someone who has these fittings?” Diesel Help Australia Founder and Trainer, Clinton Brett, said.
“Often difficult to replace individually, I previously could only refer them to dealerships, so we researched our database which has been formed from diagnosing hundreds of diesel models and created a kit.
“This cost-effective selection kit contains a variety of plastic and metal return fittings/adaptors/connectors and clips suitable for most applications available throughout the world.
“We have sourced the components from quality manufacturers whom we are aware supply most OEMs.
“The kit also includes a small selection of our popular dust caps and a placard containing makes, models and types of injectors, including Bosch, Delphi, Denso and Continental/Siemens.
“These fittings can also be used for testing injector back leakage and a re-order option is available for individual packs.
“These kits provide a cost-effective option to relieve the stress and help get your customer back on the road, are a suitable alternative to replacing the entire OEM pipe, and minimise downtime by providing access to multiple application options.”
Clinton says the kits cover most vehicle, including popular models such as Bosch Solenoid injectors
(Audi, VW, Hyundai, Mercedes, Peugeot, Citroen and more), Bosch Piezo injectors (Jaguar, BMW, Chrysler, Jeep, Kia, Iveco, Nissan, Porsche and more), Delphi injectors (Mercedes, Mondeo, Focus, Kuga, and Skoda), Continental/Siemens injectors (Ford Ranger, Territory, Mazda BT50, Landrover and more), Denso injectors (Isuzu D-Max and Holden Colorado) and also Securing clips applicable for Bosch, Continental/Siemens and Denso outlets.
The kit does not include piping, hoses, tubing, or joiners.
Diesel Help Australia says stock is available now and pre-orders are also an option. Those with Gold or Platinum Diesel Help Membership also receive a five percent discount.
