DBA GEARING UP FOR THE FUTURE
Over the past five years Disc Brakes Australia (DBA) has significantly broadened its product range
Disc Brakes Australia’s product range now extends beyond Brake Rotors to encompass various lines of Brake Pads, Calipers, Hydraulic Cylinders, Brake Hoses, and Brake Fluid.
DBA says this continued expansion and increased SKU count results in an industry-leading car parc coverage, solidifying DBA’s reputation as “the trusted name in all aspects of braking.”
DBA explains that its in-house Research and Development department allows it to stay ahead of the curve and position itself at the forefront of innovation.
Further, with its ‘first to market’ approach, products are being engineered promptly as new vehicles enter the market.
Not only does the company focus on cutting-edge solutions for the latest vehicles, but it also dedicates resources to branching into new product lines for the existing car parc, demonstrating its commitment to serving Australia’s car mechanics and automotive enthusiasts alike.
The company says its relentless pursuit of advancements has given rise to industry-defining product features.
Among these innovations is the iconic patented “Kangaroo Paw” vein design. This design enhances rotor performance by reportedly providing up to 20 percent better heat dissipation, resulting in improved braking effectiveness and a longer lifespan for the brakes, thus ensuring durability and safety on the road.
In addition to the Kangaroo Paw design, DBA says it also boasts other technological marvels.
Thermo-Graphic Heat Paint, a colour-changing paint, serves as a visual aid to monitor temperature changes and rotor fatigue.
And having set a new standard in brake technology, the patented T2 and T3 slot patterns, each featuring uniquely designed CNC-machined slots, ensure a quieter, more responsive, and smoother braking experience.
“It comes down to trust. Our customers simply know how well the product works,” DBA General Manager Sales ANZ, Shane Jeffreys, said.
“Demand for our product from our retail and trade partners is stronger than ever, and we know that this is largely owed to the quality of our product.
“With the recent additional investments in warehousing and logistics, we will be able to offer our customers the service to match our world-class product.”
Beyond product innovation, DBA has strategically invested in further growth to ready the company for the future.
With both sales and SKU range having more than doubled over the past five years and further expansion on the horizon, DBA has recently increased its capacity in Warehousing, Operations, Product Management, Marketing and Administration. Later in 2024, to accommodate its ongoing growth, the business will move to a new, state of the art facility in Sydney.
As DBA continues to innovate, it is thrilled to present its extensive product lineup at this year’s AAAExpo at stand L42. The team invites visitors to come by its stand to understand how its products are designed to meet and exceed customer expectations, by offering superior braking solutions for a safer and more enjoyable driving experience.
DBA will proudly showcase its full range of OE-replacement Street Series parts at the expo, including Rotors and Drums, Pads and Shoes, Calipers, Hydraulics and Sensors.
For those seeking to learn about DBA’s 4WD upgrade program, the 4000 Series Rotors and SP and XP Pads will be on display, as well as the brand-new range of Dual Diaphragm Brake Boosters and steel braided hoses. Finally, the company’s range-topping line of 5000 Series Rotors and XP and RP Pads caters to the high-performance vehicle segment.
