The brakes and suspension specialist explains that its experience with motorsport and performance vehicles directly influences the research, design, and manufacturing of Pedders products.
Pedders first partnered with Supercars in 2009, with the Pedders Safety Car becoming a prominent platform for marketing and promotional activities.
In 2019, Pedders joined forces with SupaShock for a successful tender, leading to the exclusive use of the Pedders Damper by SupaShock across all Supercars teams starting in 2020.
In 2022, the Pedders R&D department collaborated closely with the Supercars Technical Department and Erebus Motorsport to develop a world-class, motorsport-specific spring for the debut of the new Gen3 cars.
Gen3 Pedders control springs are manufactured at Pedders’ Melbourne coil spring facility and were successfully utilised during the 2023 and 2024 Supercars seasons.
For the 2025 season, Pedders and Supercars have partnered once again to introduce two new spring rates.
Whether for the race track or the road, Pedders says it offers a comprehensive range of performance suspension upgrades for car enthusiasts.
It states its aftermarket performance springs not only enhance the visual appeal of a vehicle but also improve handling by reducing body roll and increasing tyre adhesion.
Pedders also provides a range of performance shock absorbers featuring finely tuned valving for precise handling and ride control.
These shocks are engineered with heavy-duty construction, specifically designed for performance driving.
For the ultimate suspension upgrade, Pedders says its eXtreme XA Coilover Kits offer a complete shock absorber and coil spring assembly.
These kits are fully height adjustable and include multi-position damping settings, allowing drivers to fine-tune their handling for on or off the track performance.
Additional Pedders performance upgrades include suspension bushes, sway bars, sway bar links and mounts, CV drive shafts, and the eXtreme Big Brake Kit for “unparalleled stopping power.”
Since the 1970s, Pedders has also been active in rally racing, with Managing Director, Scott Pedder, currently competing in the Australian Rally Championship (ARC).
“Motorsport is embedded in our DNA and remains a cornerstone of Pedders Suspension and Brakes,” says the company.
