EIBACH MOTORSPORT SPRINGS: ENGINEERED TO WIN

From championship-winning race teams to the weekend enthusiast, Eibach says it is there with trusted motorsport products for both on and off the track

The Eibach Race Spring (ERS) system was conceived in Germany by Wilfried Eibach, who has been managing the company globally for more than 65 years.
The ERS program began in the 1980s with a simple catalogue which compromised of around 50 spring items, seeing Eibach become the first company to catalogue motorsport springs and components.
Since then, the Eibach ERS catalogue and program has grown to consist of more than 1,400 motorsport springs and related hardware, including main and tender springs (in both metric and imperial dimensions), various auxiliary race suspension accessories and more.
All of these products are ready and in stock, available for immediate shipment from Eibach’s Sydney warehouse, with more springs and accessories being consistently added.
“The Eibach motorsport spring represents the perfect blend of high-quality engineering precision, performance and durability, making them the choice for high-performance and racing applications,” Eibach Australia Director, John Kayik, said.
All Eibach motorsport springs are cold-wound using high tensile material which allows for reduced wire diameter.
Eibach says this results in a lighter spring with increased travel and smaller block heights as well as “superior stress tolerances compared to other manufacturers.”

An example of this can be seen in the Eibach XT Barrel Spring range, which has increased travel, as well as the Eibach 3.0-inch and 3.75-inch ID spring range.
Eibach explains that its extensive manufacturing experience has led it to become a leading manufacturer of high-quality suspension and chassis components, meeting a wide range of applications across the automotive and industrial sectors.
All of Eibach’s motorsport springs are cold-formed utilising state-of-the-art CNC machines (the majority of which have been designed in house) which has minimised set-up time and increased production whilst maintaining high precision, small tolerances and the “superior product quality” Eibach says it is known for.
“Eibach’s motorsport spring range are manufactured in repeated series production to motorsport-spec tolerances, retaining consistent rate and static height which proven for decades upon the harshest racetracks across the globe,” John said.
“They are available in a wide range of lengths, diameters and rates and are ultra-lightweight reducing mass.
“The ERS program has evolved to become the world’s most comprehensive and superior Race Spring System.
“Additionally, due to the large number of springs and components available within the ERS system, motorsport teams and their race engineers are able to develop and design multiple set-up options through the utilisation of various main, tender and helper springs to create a progressive spring system which is truly dialled in to each and every track both on and off the road to create the most optimal suspension setup.
“To put it simply, Eibach’s motorsport springs are the best.”

Eibach Australia has serviced and supported Australian motorsport for more than 25 years.
“Given the quality of the Eibach product and its support, it is not surprising to know that numerous championship winning teams in V8 Supercars, TCR Australia, Improved Production, various Speedway categories, Off-Road race series, Time Attack, Rally, Drag cars, Targa events, and many more have relied and raced on Eibach,” John said.
Eibach Australia prides itself on having consistent stock available and as such, be able to provide reliable and consistent support to motorsport teams and enthusiasts in a timely manner.
As the local operation is part of the global Eibach group, Eibach Australia is supported by inhouse global factories and has direct access to stock from warehouses in Germany, the UK and the USA which ensures consistent supply and availability of products for Eibach Australia’s customers.

“We are always try to meet the demands and requirements of the customer,” John said.
“We all know how crucial it is having the correct springs and setup at events”.
John is extremely proud of how well local Eibach-equipped motorsport vehicles perform.
“It is always a pleasure to watch them, and to know they are racing on our springs is a buzz for us and we always love getting out and about at events,” John said.
“The spring-making process is a process which has been perfected by Eibach since the 1950s – we are the pioneer in the field driven by founder Wilfred Eibach’s passion for perfection that resulted in ‘The Will to Win’ and has carried through to the quality and range of products available,” John added.
