It is well known that during start-up is a prime time for damaging engine wear to occur.
Mobil 1 says the higher flow rate and lower viscosity of Mobil 1 0W-20 ESP X2 motor oil enables it to reach an engine’s vital parts faster during startup for ultra-fast protection.
It says this not only reduces undesirable and premature engine wear on start up, but also reduces the demands on the starter and battery.
Mobil 1 says it is a world-renowned synthetic motor oils innovator, and as such, Mobil 1 0W-20 ESP X2 has been expertly engineered to prolong the life, as well as maintain the efficiency of, emission systems in new, emerging diesel- and petrol-powered European vehicles that require SAE 0W-20 engine oils.
It explains this advanced oil features a proprietary blend of high-performance synthetic base stocks fortified with balanced additives.
Mobil 1 further explains that this oil keeps engines running at peak efficiency under the severest of conditions, including multiple short trips, cold weather driving, driving in extreme heat, extended idling, stop-start traffic, towing and driving in dusty conditions.
Designed in cooperation with European Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), Mobil 1 0W-20 is certified as “Resource Conserving” by both the International Lubricant Standardisation and Approval Committee (ILSAC) and the American Petroleum Institute (API).
Mobil 1 says it has also “been independently proven that Mobil 1 0W-20 ESP X2 contributes to reduced fuel consumption by as much as 2.3 percent when comparted to ordinary, higher viscosity engine oils.”

It says this is especially so with the high-performance, turbocharged, supercharged, multi-valve, fuel-injected and hybrid engines found in modern passenger vehicles, such as SUVs, 4WDs, tradie utes, light vans and light trucks.
Mobil 1 0W-20 ESP X2 should only be used in vehicles for which it is approved. Always check the vehicle’s owner’s manual or contact the vehicle manufacturer to ascertain if a SAE 0W-20 motor oil is the recommended viscosity.
