The expansion of the Australian-owned company follows a new partnership with Summit Racing Equipment

Excess Injectors is owned by CoolDrive Auto Parts, following the 2022 acquisition of Injectors Online, as part of CoolDrive’s expansion into performance products.

After two years, over 3,000 hours of product development, and a combined 45 years of performance fuel injector experience, Excess Injectors have been designed to revolutionise flow testing and data matching, to create “the most accurate injector sets available.”
Other performance injector tolerances can vary up to nine percent, yet Excess Injectors says it is able to offer unparalleled matching, with tolerances within one percent on flow rate and two percent on dead times.
This has been achieved by Excess Injectors’ proprietary test bench that captures over 6,500 flow points on each injector to create a complete and highly accurate flow profile, it says.
A unique and valuable highlight of the Excess Injectors range is said to be the ‘exact match’ data for each set of injectors, which reportedly vastly reduces final tuning time, with both flow rate and dead time performance equalised.
Each injector set comes with tuning data formatted for multiple ECU platforms, with each tune file download exactly matched to how the set performed on the bench.
