FLASHLUBE RANGE EXPANDED
Flashlube has recently added AdBlue Diesel Exhaust Fluid to its product range
Flashlube AdBlue is a solution made up of 32.5 percent urea in demineralised water.
It works to directly benefit the environment by reducing the harmful nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions released into the atmosphere by diesel fuel by up to 90 percent.
Added to the dedicated AdBlue tank present in vehicles with Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology, Flashlube AdBlue is released into the exhaust pipe in a measured dose.
There it reacts with nitrogen oxide in the exhaust gasses before being burned at very high temperatures via the catalytic converter, essentially breaking down into harmless nitrogen and water molecules.
It is then released as steam from the tail pipe, significantly reducing the NOx particles entering the atmosphere through exhaust emission.
AdBlue is commonly used in truck and bus applications, where it assists the vehicle in meeting Euro 6 emissions standards, which regulate the level of harmful exhaust emissions.
It is also becoming increasingly common in late-model diesel vehicles produced by a growing number of manufacturers including Ford, Mazda, Toyota, Volkswagen, Renault, Citroen, BMW, Audi, Land Rover and Mercedes.
Flashlube AdBlue is available in one, five and 20L bottles.
