HARROP RELEASES FORGED ULTIMATE BRAKE KIT
The performance specialist has also reintroduced its Ultimate and Performance Brakes
For decades, Harrop has engineered performance brakes for motorsport teams, OEMs and the aftermarket globally.
From Touring Cars to Supercars at Bathurst and HSV from the factory, Harrop says it has continued to push the boundaries of braking performance.
Harrop is now proud to release its new Forged Ultimate Brake range, while also reintroducing its legendary Ultimate and Performance Brakes.
The new Forged Ultimate Brake range features six-piston front and four-piston rear monobloc calipers, made from 6066-T6 forged aluminium for lighter weight and better heat transfer.
The newly designed calipers are paired with larger diameter two-piece design rotors featuring directional 48 vanes (front) and 36 vanes (rear), allowing more air to circulate through the rotors improving cooling efficiency and performance.
The Ultimate rotors feature a two-piece bobbin drive system as seen in top tier level motorsport, allowing thermal expansion due to the heat differential between the cast iron rotors and aluminium adaptors.
Harrop says this ensures optimum braking performance and better pedal feel even under the most demanding applications.
The Harrop Forged Ultimate Brake upgrade is designed to satisfy the demands of street and track enthusiasts looking for a reliable and high-quality brake package that will excel on track days while also maintaining perfect brake balance for everyday use.
Applications include Holden VT-VZ Commodore, Holden VE and VF Commodore, Mazda FD RX-7 – front only, Toyota 86/Subaru BRZ, Ford BA-FG Falcon, BMW E92 M3 / M1 and also custom chassis kits to suit Wilwood Front 2.0” drop and Ford nine-inch rear housing.
