The range from Corghi Australia includes a wide variety of heavy-duty tyre changers, including the HD500, HD700, HD900 and the fully automatic HD1800 HYDRUS.
“The HD1800 HYDRUS is the flagship of our range,” Corghi Australia General Manager, Andrew Cornwell, said.
“It can handle wheels up to an 3,000kg and has 45,000nm of bead breaking force.”
The HD1800 HYDRUS has an impressive max wheel diameter of three metres or 118” and a clamping capacity of 14” to 60” with extensions. This unit can take an absolute beating without breaking a sweat.
“The HD1800 HYDRUS controls are easy-to-use, and being a fully automatic machine, it can increase productivity and massively reduce manual labour,” Andrew said.
Corghi’s heavy-duty tyre changer range also includes the ever-popular HD 700 and HD 900 Semi-Automatic Truck Tyre Changers.
The HD 700 can handle wheels weighing up to 700kg, has a clamping capacity of 14” to 26” and features a mechanical arm that acts as a bead breaker and lever.
The next step up in the Corghi range is the HD 900.
“The HD 900 Electro-hydraulic tyre changer is perfect for trucks, buses, tractors and earth moving equipment with groove or elastic ring type rim wheels and with tubeless or inner tube type tyres,” Andrew said.
“It also features a two-speed motor and is designed for wheels that weigh up to 1000kg.”
