JAX RETURNS WITH MISSION TO ‘PUT A CAP ON BREAST CANCER’

20,000 pink valve caps are up for grabs with $10 donations going to the National Breast Cancer Foundation

Pink is making a comeback, as JAX Tyres and Auto returns with a new run of special edition pink valve caps in support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) and its vision of zero deaths from breast cancer.
In 2023, JAX customers and supporters raised thousands of dollars for the NBCF, helping to fund vital research into how to prevent, detect, treat, and stop the progression and recurrence of breast cancer.
Thanks to that show of support, from this Mother’s Day, 20,000 JAX pink caps – one for every person diagnosed with breast cancer in Australia each year – are now available to pick up at all JAX stores nationwide for a $10 donation, helping drivers to add a splash of colour to roads and driveways everywhere.
Since its inception in 1994, NBCF has invested over $200 million into more than 600 world-class research projects across Australia, and JAX Tyres and Auto are proud to be strengthening support for the life-changing charity.
Team 18 Supercars driver, and JAX ambassador, David Reynolds, is once again lending his support to the ‘Put a Cap on Breast Cancer’ campaign.
“It is always a privilege to do whatever I can to support the NBCF and the amazing work they do in the fight against breast cancer. So, get out there, get your hands on a JAX pink cap, and play your part as well,” David said.
“After a great start to the pink caps campaign in 2023, we’re privileged to play our part once again in helping to get a step closer to the National Breast Cancer Foundation’s admirable vision of zero deaths from breast cancer,” JAX Tyres and Auto Chief Executive Officer, Steve Grossrieder, said.
“The National Breast Cancer Foundation is delighted to have JAX Tyres and Auto back as a corporate partner for a second year, and to again have the support of their extensive network of stores across Australia, stocking the pink tyre caps as part of the clever ‘Put A Cap on Breast Cancer’ campaign, which in 2023 raised over $26,000,” National Breast Cancer Foundation Chief Executive Officer, Associate Professor Cleola Anderiesz, said.
“A contribution of this size goes a long way to helping us achieve our vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer, and would not have been possible without the support of the individual franchise owners, so thank you to JAX Tyres and Auto and their 93 stores nationally for your role in helping to advance breast cancer research.
“We look forward to making an even bigger impact together this year as we celebrate our 30th anniversary.”
