KELPRO WEAR SENSORS
The Kelpro range is expanding
The addition of Kelpro’s new wear sensor range further extends the Kelpro range of brake products, which already includes the Kelpro Brake and Clutch Hydraulics range launched at the start of 2021 and the Pedal Pads program.
Brake wear sensors are an important safety feature used on many vehicles and it is vital they are changed whenever the brake pads are replaced.
They perform the vital role of informing the driver when the brake pads are approaching the end of their service life and cannot be reused as they are designed to fail when the brake pads near the end of their service life.
Those behind the Kelpro brand explain that the initial range consists of 114 sensors to suit 1,681 vehicle applications with an easy-to-understand part numbering system and comprehensive cataloguing to make selecting the right sensor easy.
All Kelpro Wear Sensors begin with KBS prefix for ‘Kelpro Brake Sensor’ and are numbered sequentially from 9000 on.
The sensors are made from the “highest-grade” raw materials, and are designed to meet the exact function of the OE standard of braking safety. They are individually supplied in their own sealed bag for easy identification.
The Kelpro team state that its Wear Sensor
range is sourced from ISO 9001 and TS accredited world leading factories that specialise in manufacturing automotive sensors.
Due to these strict manufacturing processes, the Kelpro team says all of its Wear Sensors can be given a two-year/40,000km warranty to help give the consumer greater confidence.
The full Kelpro range of Brake Wear Sensors, Brake and Clutch Hydraulics, Pedal Pads and Seals is available through Repco and NAPA Auto Parts.
