LANOTEC MPX
Those behind the products state they “redefine multipurpose lubricants”
Launched earlier this year, Lanotec says its MPX has taken the aftermarket by storm, with its consumer-grade formulation offering “the ultimate” in environmentally friendly lubrication and protection.
Made locally from all-natural Australian lanolin, an organic substance produced by sheep to shield the coating on their fleece, Lanotec’s offering has found favour for use in environmentally sensitive locations.
It states MPX is the ideal product to use around the workshop, home or garden, especially with users who are looking to switch away from petrochemical options.
While providing long-lasting lubrication, MPX also penetrates, freeing up rusted tools, nuts and bolts, stops squeaks, repels moisture while preventing water ingress, protects metal from corrosion, and rejuvenates vinyl, leather and powder-coated surfaces, amongst a multitude of potential uses.
The line is available in 300g aerosol, 600ml spray packs, and five-litre bulk pack sizes.
A new feature of the aerosol packs is a handy combo nozzle for use in any circumstance, with its inert CO2 propellent non-hazardous and non-flammable, ensuring the maximum delivery of active ingredients.
Continuing to lead the charge in professional circles are Lanotec’s General Purpose and Heavy-Duty offerings, which it says provide next-level lubrication and protection while cleaning, extending the life of metal, timber, plastic, rubber, and fibreglass finishes.
A popular line for 4WDs, light vehicles and plant equipment is Lanotec Steel-Seal, which not only provides high-performance corrosion protection for underbodies, but it also prevents further rust from developing in already corroded areas.
It is particularly useful in areas where vehicles encounter salt water, fertiliser, at chemical storage facilities, and in other harsh environments.
Lanotec also produces Type A Grease and Soft Grease, as well as welding Anti Spatter, which lubricates tapping, drilling and pressing, protects welding nozzles, and preserves leather gloves and aprons, all while having no effect on the galvanising process.
The ideal companion to Lanotec’s lanolin-based range is Citra-Force, an organic industrial-strength cleaner and natural degreaser, which safely cleans a wide range of finishes, including aluminium, stainless steel and anodised surfaces without streaking.
The industrial strength product removes hard-to-clean material, including oil, grease, carbon, adhesives, acrylic paint, shipping waxes, blackjack, uncured silicone, sealants, lanolin and rubberised glue, amongst many uses.
In 2023, Lanotec is celebrating its 25th anniversary, with MPX the cornerstone of an expanded offering. It recently moved into new headquarters at Park Ridge to the south of Brisbane, with the facility set to enhance the company’s service to customers nationwide.
