The PRTC has re-launched to reinvigorate and support this passionate and exciting sector of the automotive industry

Under the AAAA, the mission of the Performance Racing and Tuning Council (PRTC) is to represent the interests of tuners, vehicle modifiers and performance parts suppliers across the country.
The PRTC provides advice, understanding and a strategic approach to current and potential market issues, and works with regulators, governments, enthusiasts and community groups.
A key focus of the council is to promote consumer choice and protect the right to modify vehicles to suit Australian conditions.
The PRTC values environmentally responsible tuning, advocating against substandard tuning practices such as removing emission controls like catalytic converters or diesel particle filters.
“Relaunching the PRTC has been received with enthusiasm amongst the performance and tuning sector,” PRTC Convenor, Daniel Nelson, said.
“Australia has so many innovative and exciting companies that produce world leading performance products, parts and service offerings, so having a strong unified voice that actively supports the health and future of this sector is an important step.
“In the months ahead, the Council will explore opportunities to enhance Performance education in Australia, including 4WD diesel tuning.
