Philips Sales and Business Development Manager ANZ, Reece Walker, said the cabinets are designed and built in Europe and are an increasingly popular addition to European workshops.
“We’ve seen a need for a heavy-duty product in Australia and have worked with the international team to offer them here in Australia with the added option to offer them fully stocked by local Philips suppliers,” Reece said.
The cabinets themselves feature a robust powder-coated steel construction, making them sturdy and suited to tough workshop conditions.
“They are also wall mountable, so can be placed out of the way and easily accessible,” Reece said.
An added bonus to the Philips globe cabinet is the inclusion of a handy bulb tester which can be fitted to the side of the unit, allowing staff to easily test if there is an issue with the globe.
Featuring a versatile shelving system where shelves can be moved to suit all products including larger Xenon HID and LED products, the cabinet is fitted with a lockable magnetic door to ensure high-value items are safe at all times.
“Workshops who choose to purchase the fully stocked option, get 150 pieces of high moving Philips halogen and incandescent globes plus the cabinet to store them in,” Reece said.
