Racer Industries is growing its support of grassroots motorsport amidst an already busy sponsorship portfolio

Racer Industries recently added to its growing portfolio of motorsports partnerships by announcing its support of talented racers Clay Richards (#3 Racer Industries GR86) and Harrison Blanchard (#7 Racer Industries GR86) in the 2024 TGRA GR Cup.
The one-make Toyota GR86 series presents a thrilling platform for drivers to showcase their skills on some of Australia’s premier tracks, with a potential field of over 30 drivers at each round.
Both entries feature striking inverted liveries that highlight the support from Racer Industries and its supporting brands, with both vehicles turning heads on the track.
Racer Industries Business Development Manager, Mathew Nilsson, hailed this partnership as a testimony to the brand’s commitment to supporting grassroots motorsports.
“While Racer Industries is proud to supply more than 100 control parts to the Supercars teams, we are also dedicated to supporting every level of motorsport and every type of competitor, from grassroots right through to elite Supercars teams,” Mathew said.
“Both Clay and Harry are developing drivers, and Racer Industries is proud to fuel their growth through the support of this exciting series.
“Racer Industries is honoured to be a part of a premier grassroots circuit racing category and we can’t wait to be part of the exciting racing that the GR Cup always delivers.”

These new grassroots sponsorships complement the leading performance and motorsport parts supplier’s comprehensive activity in the Australian motorsport landscape, which along with Supercars, also features a recently extended partnership with Motorsport Australia.
That relationship sees Racer Industries as the Official Race Accessories Partner of Motorsport Australia, the Shannons SpeedSeries and the Bosch Motorsport Australia Rally Championship, and also supporting Motorsport Australia’s successful development program First Gear, and Motorsport Australia Esports.
Racer Industries also partnered with BRT to sponsor the team’s wildcard Supercar entry at the Sandown 500 in 2023, in celebration of the opening of its new superstore in Melbourne – the first physical retail store for the company outside of Queensland.
The Racer Industries Trackside Store also plays an active role at local motorsport events, providing assistance to drivers and teams in a range of categories at Club, State and National level competition, and at iconic events such as World Time Attack – where among a dazzling array of cutting-edge motorsport equipment on display at the Racer Industries Trackside Store were Sparco race suits and helmets, Project Mu brakes, and MPI steering wheels, as well as selection of oils, brake fluids, and consumables for the event’s competitors.
“Like us, Motorsport Australia is committed to growing the sport at all levels, and we are more than happy to be part of that progress,” Mathew said.
“Our team is made up of passionate racers, and being owned by CoolDrive Auto Parts, we are also very proud to work closely with the BRT Supercars team in addition to being a control parts supplier for the overall championship.
“As well as giving us the chance to give back to and support the motorsport industry and community, including competitors and volunteers, our partnerships also offer numerous benefits for Racer Industries.
“Of course there is the obvious marketing exposure, but we also have the opportunity to test what we sell on track, listen to customer feedback, and adapt our product offerings accordingly.
“This means that the benefits of our partnerships extend beyond our company, our marketing, and those we sponsor – it also ensures that our customers, the end-users of our products, benefit too through high quality and well-tested products they know they can rely on.”

Established in 2004, Racer Industries says it has become a go-to source for motorsport parts in Australia.
With a commitment to supporting all levels of motorsport, Racer Industries says it is proud to provide competitors with high-quality gear at affordable prices, sourced directly from local and international manufacturers.
“Obviously motorsport can be quite costly, which is why we aim to provide competitors with the highest quality gear at the best price,” Mathew said.
The new Racer Industries superstore at Box Hill is situated in close proximity to the CoolDrive Auto Parts head office. While in Queensland, the Ashmore and Acacia Ridge locations have both relocated to a single Racer Industries superstore at Yatala, next to the new CoolDrive Auto Parts branch. The entire Racer Industries Performance and Racing product range is available to purchase via a CoolDrive trade account.
