REPCO EXTENDS NAMING RIGHTS OF THE REPCO ADELAIDE MOTORSPORT FESTIVAL
A new multi-year sponsorship deal has been struck
Repco will once again be the naming rights sponsor for the 2025 Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival, which will be held on March 8 and 9, after signing a new multi-year deal recently.
Repco’s portfolio of Australian motorsport sponsorship includes the Repco Supercars Championship, Repco Bathurst 1000, and the Shell V Power Racing Team, alongside the Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival.
As part of the naming rights deal, the Repco Circuit Safari will return at the 2025 Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival following its debut in 2024.
The Repco Circuit Safari gives guests and fans the chance to be on track alongside a selection of race cars, enabling the passengers the once in a life-time experience of seeing and hearing iconic sportscars, touring cars and more up close.
Repco has played an important part in Australian motorsport history, contributing to Sir Jack Brabham’s Formula 1 world championship win in 1966 by building the V8 Repco engine that powered his Brabham BT 19.
“The motorsport heritage that comes with the Repco brand isn’t just confined to Australia, it is globally recognised for its connection with names such as Sir Jack Brabham and this is a perfect fit with what the Adelaide Motorsport Festival is about,” Adelaide Motorsport Festival Chief Executive Officer, Tim Possingham, said.
“We have a huge amount of Australian motorsport content at the event, but at the same time the event is now recognised globally and attracts cars from all over the world.
“On-event, we have a burgeoning audience of car enthusiasts, all of whom know and respect the Repco brand at a local level, so the fit is great for both brands.”
Repco Executive General Manager of Marketing, Mitch Wiley, said Repco is thrilled to once again partner with the Adelaide Motorsport Festival for 2025 and beyond.
“Repco has a proud and deep heritage in motorsport and this festival celebrates the rich history of all forms of racing,” Mitch said.
“It has been fantastic to be part of this festival and witness it grow every year. The Adelaide Motorsport Festival is quickly becoming a ‘bucket list’ event for any motorsport fan.”
Held the week prior to the Australian Grand Prix, the Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival is a museum in motion, displaying historic, rare and significant racing vehicles on the Victoria Park section of the Adelaide Street Circuit.
Categories featuring Formula 1, V8 Supercars, touring cars, sportscars and more will feature over the course of the 2025 Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival, in addition to on-track demonstrations, off-track displays, villas and more.
