REVERSE PARKING SENSORS
Burg Design says it pioneered the introduction of these sensors into the Australian market 30 years ago
When first presented to the market, Burg Design says the initial comments were very negative from most people questioning, ‘why on earth would anyone put those annoying beeping things on to their car?’
However, Burg Design says it eventually found a well-known car dealer who was willing to give its Parksafe sensors a go, and so the company installed a sample set onto a new Toyota Prado demo vehicle.
A few days later, Burg Design explains it received a call from that dealer asking when it could install five more sets onto various models which had been sold to customers who loved the rear sensors and had ordered them for their new vehicles.
As a direct result of the demand for the rear parking sensors, Burg Design says it was eventually approached by many of the various car companies operating in Australia as well as overseas and sales grew rapidly into the millions of sets.
As the years passed, Burg Design says it eventually developed front parking sensors which also very quickly became just as popular as the rear sets, and then came reversing cameras systems and blind spot radar for all types of vehicles which it says are also extremely popular .
As time passes by, thousands of vehicles are involved in accidents every day and naturally many of the items noted here are damaged and need replacing.
Burg Design says Parksafe has put together Australia’s most comprehensive range of individual replacement parts for Parking Sensors, Reversing Cameras, and Blind Spot Radar Systems which are all displayed on its website.
