SUPERCAR STARS AND THE EASTER BUNNY VISIT BAPCOR
The BAPCOR head office had some special guests at Easter
It isn’t every day that a pair of the nation’s fastest Supercar drivers, their Team Principal and the Easter Bunny make a morning visit to your workplace.
This is exactly what took place just prior to the Easter long weekend at the BAPCOR head office in Melbourne when the Autobarn, Opposite Lock and Chicane Tools sponsored Supercar team, Tickford Racing, dropped in for a mid-morning visit.
The first ever Gen3 Supercar race winner and double championship runner-up Cam Waters was joined by team mate and former Supercars Champion James Courtney, accompanied by team chief Tim Edwards for an Easter meet and greet with Autobarn and BAPCOR staff at the head office front car park.
Autobarn’s motorsport involvement from the highest level to the grass-roots level was also represented on this fun day, with 20-year-old Autobarn sponsored Kart racer and automotive engineering student Madi Bickerton also taking part, bringing along her racing kart for all to see and hear.
Tickford Racing also brought one of the team’s Ford Mustang Supercar display cars to the event, adding to the many photo opportunities available for BAPCOR staff members.
Even the Easter Bunny found its way into this fun morning event with a coffee van and plenty of hot cross buns and easter eggs shared around for all who took part.
Along with showcasing Autobarn, one of Australia’s leading car parts and accessories retailers, Tickford Racing also promotes 4WD parts and accessories retailer Opposite Lock. The team also uses and recommends BAPCOR’s exclusive Chicane Tools range.
